Chess Set Is First and Only Authorized Re-Creation Based on the TV Show

Los Angeles, CA - February 10, 2016 - Wood Expressions, Inc., maker of WE Games brand of quality board games, is pleased to announce the debut of the first and only authorized re-creation of the Star Trek Tridimensional chess set. The collectible chess set, from the Franklin Mint and under license by CBS Consumer Products, is being released in honor of the 50th anniversary of Star Trek.

The chess set is based upon the one seen on board the starship U.S.S. Enterprise. It was first introduced by Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock in the classic episode “Where No Man Has Gone Before.” It will be on display at Toy Fair 2016 in New York, being held at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
