Sneeks International is a design and development company with an emphasis on children's
cognitive skills.
In 1996 Sneeks International started as a desire for a parent to simplify the
often difficult task of shoe lacing and bow tying for a then 5 year old son.
After some trial and error, and several proto-types, Antonio Davis, Sr. decided
to make a simulated shoe relying on inspiration from God, and his design degree
from Virginia State University. Samples were shown and sent out to pre schools,
physical therapists, educational supply chains, and retail stores.
The Sneeks shoe tying aid is an educational device for teaching, training,
and aiding a child or mentally-challenged person to lace shoes,
and tie a shoelace bow. It is often a challenge when trying to instruct
children, attention and focus are readily lost when success seems
out of reach. Sneeks is used to develop and enhance children's cognitive
skills.
