The Children's Creative Programming Partnership/Tot-a-Doodle-Do! produces DVDs
and Follow-Along Craft Kits. The show's "follow-along" activities for children
and their caregivers stimulate key developmental skills. Diversity and inclusion
are hallmarks of the show.
The key objectives of Tot-a-Doodle-Do! DVDs and Crafty Kids Craft
Kits are to:
- Enhance the fine motor skills of children age 3-7
- Encourage interaction with children and their caregivers/parents
- Assist children with the acquisition of appropriate developmental skills such as fine and gross motor, socialization, cognitive and communication skills through the integration of music, arts and other creative exercises
- Teach children new vocabulary, sequencing skills, listening skills and manners
- Nurture imagination and memory
- Encourage exercise and movement
- Integrate physically handicapped and/or special needs children through the use of PCS and other techniques to demonstrate values of inclusion, acceptance, and self- esteem
