The company was founded by Sandy Evans and is a Nevada corporation. Sandy Evans is an author and artist with a passion for helping people, particularly in the realm of education. She has devoted many years to the creation and refinement of Comet®. Sandy's mission for Active Minds is to create a culturally important and prosperous company that gives back to its community.

Active Minds' premier product is called Comet® The fast path to learning. Comet is an enjoyable and unique spelling game, featuring geography, science, health, history, animals, nature and dictionary meanings. Unlike many competing games which often use obscure or even incorrect words, Comet utilizes words frequently used in everyday language. The game can be enjoyed by all ages from 9 and up. Comet® The Fast Path to Learning has several versions including Family, Children’s Game Card Edition and Bible Game.

Comet® The Fast Path to Learning is available now, in the Family Edition (11-up), Children’s Game Card Edition (8-10)  and Bible Edition (11-up).
