Hap Palmer has been recording children's CDs since the late '60s. This new CD includes Hap singing 12 of his most popular songs in Spanish. It includes a bilingual teaching guide with lyrics and activities in Spanish and English so children can learn both languages. A few songs on the CD include: "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," "What a Miracle" and "Five Little Monkeys."

This album features 20 original songs that aim to help children build vocabulary in both English and Spanish through active multisensory participation. The songs are a combination of new compositions and updated versions of early Hap Palmer favorites along with new translations into Spanish. The lyrics and activities were developed in conjunction with Spanish language educational expert Laura Radchik, PhD.

Twelve Hap Palmer favorites are presented in a series of musical picture books that combine song lyrics with high quality audio recordings, imaginative illustrations, and colorful photographs, all designed to motivate children to read and sing. This DVD is made up of individual illustrations and photo- graphs that bring to life the ideas and stories of each song. This format makes it easier for children to read and sing the words. The steady illustrations help new readers focus on text, identify sight words, and start to read new vocabulary. Launch date: April 20, 2012.
