Bandai Creation, a division of Bandai America, released the new Power Rangers toy/candy products modeled after their Action Megazords. The DinoThunder Mega-Pop Megazords candy reveals its lollipop when a button is pushed on the chest of the Megazord.

The series premiere of "Zatch Bell" – the latest anime sensation on Cartoon Network – was watched by more than one million viewers. The second episode that aired two weeks later drew an audience of 2.5 million. In addition to the series’ overwhelming surge in popularity, the game has a unique feature: it uses a spell book to hold players´ cards and count their life points. This can be worn by kids who can imagine themselves transforming into one of the aliens they see on the show. With three animation disks to be inserted into the watch’s face, kids can watch Ben transform before their eyes. More disks are available.

This is true to scale just like Ben’s alien watch on "Ben 10" that crash landed on Earth in a meteorite. The Omnitrix F/X allows kids to wear it on their wrists and reenact all the action that they see on the series. It features red and green flashing lights and transformation sound effects taken directly from the show. Images of each of the 10 aliens that Ben can initially transform into are also featured on the face of the watch. But be careful, it just may transform kids into those funny alien creatures!

This playset is an exact replica of Max’s RV on "Ben 10", lovingly nicknamed the “Rust Bucket.” But this isn’t an everyday RV, as it transforms into a cool Alien Laboratory where kids can conduct their own experiments! The included supplies allow kids to create their own alien figures using clay molds. Water can be added to the beaker and dropped in one or two of the (included) Transforming Alien Rocks to see which character will appear after the DNA has oozed off. When these alien rocks are dissolved in warm water, the "DNA" fizzes to reveal a miniature 1” alien figure hidden inside.  They come in packs of two with the following character versions: Heatblast/Upgrade, Diamondhead/Wildmutt, Fourarms/Ghostfreak, Stinkfly/Greymatter, and XLR8/Ripjaws.

This large scale 8” Metamorfigure starts off as a harmless alien but transforms into something totally different: a mini role-play toy. Ripjaws, the water creature, can transform into a functioning squirt gun.

Even though we really don’t know how the aliens in "Ben 10" wound up in the Omnitrix in the first place, we do know that they traveled their home planets in style! Greymatter's awesome alien ship is unique because of the special DNA structure or terrain in which they lived. Greymatter’s transforms into a flying saucer … with wheels, while Fourarm’s comes with two steering wheels to accommodate his numerous appendages! All the vehicles also have a fun “water-pumping” action feature. Push the pump on the top of each vehicle to see the water flow via specially designed power tubes.

Continuing their long-standing popularity with fans, the third assortment of 5" action figures in 2006 are here to "Get Powerized," this time with a cool sound feature. The Mystic Sound Red, Green and Yellow figures speak multiple phrases from the show by pressing a button on the Ranger’s belt buckle and come with awesome glow-in-the-dark weapon and accessories for the first time. The Mystic Sound Power Rangers also come in Blue and Pink (sounds only). Launch date: August 2006.

The Dragon Rootcore Command Center comes with a 5” figure and has two cool play modes — Dragon Tower and Train mode — that include totally awesome features such as missile firing, cycle launching, zip line and more. There is a unique light up feature in both modes and the playset includes a vehicle that doubles as a helicopter. Attach Power Rangers Mystic Force cycles to the special launcher to watch them race away from the tower to fight evil. The tower mode also includes built-in defense mechanisms such as missile firing, the dragon’s jaw trap that stops aliens in their tracks and the ranger ejector seat. In train mode, rangers and their cycles can be stored in the back of the train to take them to their next important mission. It launches August 2006.

This handheld electronic ant farm has electronic ants that scurry about, dig holes, feed their queen and do all the “anty” things ants do, like destroying nests, finding yummy caterpillars and — if they’re not careful — getting eaten by passing spiders. Unlike a real ant farm, this thing will never accidentally unleash ants into the wild of a child’s bedroom.

The Overdrive Tracker Morpher comes equipped with a unique black light feature that enables kids to decode and decipher clues like their favorite Power Ranger. Clues can be found on the five included scan cards as well as on the packaging of other Operation Overdrive toys. The cell phone-like morpher features a fun keypad that creates many different sound combinations, as well as a rolling wheel at the bottom that imitates a vehicle sound. Launch Date: January 2007.

This toy features touch-screen technology that puts personality quizzes at kids’ fingertips, and can also connect to a computer with its USB drive. Tweens can log onto the Girlz Connect web community to create, share and download their own quizzes. Destiny comes in various colors and can be attached to purses, backpacks or belt loops, or worn around the neck. Cliff Jin of The Rogers Group said the youth electronics category grew 22 percent in 2006, according to NPD Group. “Bandai America is leveraging its success in the category — with the top selling “virtual pet” Tamagotchi Connection — to launch the new Girlz Connect brand,” he added.
