Classic Toy Soldiers, Inc. was started in 1993 by two aging baby boomers who realized that, as adults, they now had the resources to create the Davy Crockett Alamo they had always dreamed of as kids. The favorable response these figures received by other baby boomers lead these two individuals to realize that there was a specialty market in high quality, injection molded toy soldiers not only from baby boomers wanting to relive their childhoods’, but from history buffs, war gamers and collectors in general. Even children were rediscovering these products that fell out of favor during the War in Viet Nam. To capitalize on this market CTS not only expanded their toy soldier line, but also began to import and distribute other manufacturer’s toy soldiers. The demand still not satisfied, CTS began to locate any toy soldiers molds from the 50’s and 60’s that had not been destroyed and had them repaired, cleaned and put back into product. After 10 years CTS can now boast of a warehouse containing 5 million toy soldiers which represent over 1800 different products, all of which can been viewed on our web site cts@classictoysoldiers.com Because of CTS’s success, they now feel that they can expand into the wholesale market and have a wholesale catalog containing over 600 different items.
