TIA Trend Expert Spots Active, Affordable, Accessible & Aspirational Toys

Toy trend expert for the Toy Industry Association, Reyne Rice, shared her insights into Toy Fair 2010 with TDmonthly Magazine.

The main trends to watch for this year, she said, are Active Toys that stimulate both body and mind, Affordable playthings that feature low cost and multiple uses, Accessible items that let kids access their favorite brands via a variety of media and products, and Aspirational products that encourage them to take part in the welfare of the earth and its residents.

Her short films have played in festivals around the world and have been broadcast on Showtime and other cable networks. Her short romantic comedy, "The Three-Body Solution,"  was sponsored by the Alfred P.
