Grand Slam Trivia is part of the growing DVD game genre. No game consoles are needed; this game is designed to play on a DVD player and with a remote control. What We Thought Going into the game, I wasn’t sure if my limited knowledge of baseball would hinder the overall experience. Once I started playing, I realized that this wasn’t the case. Grand Slam Trivia has an easy-to-get-started setup, so you don’t get caught up in reading lengthy instructions. Although it is a trivia game, it incorporates baseball strategy by allowing a player to choose between making a base hit or hitting a homerun. The question’s difficulty level will depend on this decision. An entire game consists of 3 innings, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes to play through. Why They’ll Want It The game is simple yet fun to play. Innings are short and come packed with some great highlight clips and commentary. I did hear some repetitious questions after playing about 5 complete games, but the game has more than 500 video highlights.
