What Is It?

Boomophone XTS Whack Pack is a set of eight plastic musical tubes that fit in a lightweight holder so the tubes can be played like a xylophone.  The set comes with a pair of mallets, an 8 note C Major Diatonic Scale and a Songbook.

What We Thought

The Boomophone XTS Whack Pack is a wonderful music device and is sure to provide hours of fun for children and adults.  It is lightweight, pleasantly colorful and sounds as good as it looks.   

Why They’ll Want It

To see if, by chance, they are gifted enough to become the next Beethoven.  But if they aren’t, no sweat since the color coated musical note system is user-friendly even for the not-so-musically-inclined.  Children and, yes, even their parents will enjoy playing the many classics included in the songbook, such as “Mary Had a Little Lamb,” “Old MacDonald” and “Three Blind Mice.”
