Cool Cages
By Tim sullivan

There is no way that my hamsters would have escaped and eaten my Batmobile had they lived in one of these cages. They would not have wanted to. If my apartment had all of these cool passageways and lookouts, I’d never leave either. I’ve always thought products like Habitrail were cool, and apparently they have only gotten cooler over the years. Take the Aquatat for example:

Aquatat Habitat

Aquatat - from Aquatat

Why don’t I have ideas like this? The Aquatat, www.aquatat.com, has taken the familiar tunnel/lookout ideas like those below and upped the ante by building them into an aquarium. Not only because it is an incredibly cool idea, but also because the inventors believe it can be beneficial to pets. They have conducted experiments in order to prove it. The Aquatat habitat can be used for gerbils, hamsters, birds, cats…just about any pet you want to make a home for.

Space Habitrail

Habitrail - from Hagen

Habitrail is without a doubt the leader in creative environments for Hamsters. So much so that their name is virtually synonymous with the type of products that they produce. Some new themes on their product include Space Habitrail, and Safari Habitrail. www.hagenpet.com

Critter Trails

Critter Trails - from Super Pet

Similar in concept and design to the Habitrail, the Critter Trails seem to have more going on within one cage. Able to connect to other cages as well, Critter Trails can combine to make an intense environment for your pet. I was unable to find a web presence for Super Pet, but the products are definitely out and about.

S.A.M.

S.A.M. - from Penn Plax

S.A.M. stands for Small Animal Products. Fitting name, as small is exactly what they are. S.A.M. makes similar products to those of the companies above. And much like Habitrail, has introduced a space theme to their line. One cool side note: S.A.M. products are interchangeable with those of Habitrail, so build away. www.pennplax.com
