The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition™
|
New Items for 2009!
| |
|
How does it work? Some time during the holiday season Santa sends a scout elf to each home to watch the children’s behavior, as well as to act as their personal liaison to Santa Claus. The elf receives his Christmas magic when the family adopts it by giving him/her a name. Then, each night after the kids are tucked into bed, the elf flies to the North Pole where it reports to Santa who had been naughty or nice during that day. Before the children awaken the elf has returned to their home, but it is now observing from a new post in the house. The children race out of bed to discover the elf’s new hang-out for the day. Children can also register their elf’s name at elfontheshelf.com and receive a special letter from Santa Claus. Watch Video Now[Add to my Inquiry Basket][?] |

Santa is letting the elf “out of the bag” once again and this time he’s going high tech. After sharing the secret of how he really knows who’s been naughty or nice in the popular book, The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, Saint Nick is now letting his elves take children on a magical tour of the North Pole through the magic of 3-D animation at www.elfontheshelf.com.
This new North Pole lets children get a sneak peek at Santa’s headquarters. With an elf as their guide, visitors stroll down the Main Street at the North Pole while they decide whether to check out Santa's Workshop, visit the reindeer stables, stop by Mrs. Claus' kitchen, or visit the town square Christmas tree. Included throughout the site are interactive games, jigsaw and slide puzzles, printable and online coloring pages, quizzes, fun facts, trivia and other online activities for kids of all ages.
