This clever version of tick-tack-toe never ends in a tie. There are three O pieces, which also are numbered 1, 3 and 5, and three X pieces, numbered 2, 4 and 6. If your first game of tick-tack-toe ends in a tie, then play continues based on the numbers 1 through 6 that are on the pieces. Number 1 (an O) moves first to another open spot on the board. Then Number 2 takes a turn (an X) , then Number 3, and so on, until a player gets three X's or O's in a row. It takes real thought and makes tick-tack-toe fun again.
Name 5 is the new party game that asks the easy questions you know the answers to. Players are asked to name five items within a specific category. An enhanced version of Tic-Tac-Toe, this game includes six magnetic game pieces: 3 0’s marked “1”, “3” and “5” and three X’s marked “2”, “4” and “6” — and a 3 x 3 game board grid. The pieces are played in numerical order. Once the six pieces are on the board, play continues in sequential fashion, with each move exposing the now-vacated square to the opponent. The action ends only when the first player achieves a three-in-a-row combination.
The trivia board game is based on “The Godfather” series. Players collect cards as they answer questions correctly, and then build a “family.” The first player with ten members in a family wins.
