The tracing pen we recommend is Pentel's MF50 Super Fine Point Permanent Ink Pen (Item D835). To color, the best media is Painters Opaque Paint Markers...colors actually become so permanent that buttons and sew-ons can be created and put through the washer and dryer at no special setting. Another media is Kelly's Glass Stain paints. Rubber Stampers like Kelly's because this media does not cover outlines. Unique items can be created by combining Frosted Ruff N' Ready and using Almond as backing shapes.

The Frosted Ruff N' Ready pack contains ten 8"x10" sheets of the exclusive Frosted Ruff N' Ready Shrinkable Plastic. It's the plastic found in kits and books produced by Spin Master, Curiosity Kits, and Klutz. This plastic is actually clear plastic that has been machine roughened on one side. Recommended for use with children because colored pencils can be used to trace and color one's selected image. The sheets are unprinted, to be left up to the imagination of the user to fill in.

Therefore, we recommend using templates to create shapes. You may use SARAL Transfer Paper to transfer any artwork onto the plastic. The neat thing about SARAL Transfer Paper is that after a pattern is transfered onto the plastic, the lines become permanent after baking! Painter's Opaque Paint Markers show up well as color medias. Rubber Stamping with Brilliance Stamping Inks (Item D883, Blue or D884, White) also lets you achieve a professional look.
