      I didn't expect much when I ordered this. The price was low, so I figured it would be low quality. But it was a silly gag gift, so I didn't mind. When the box arrived I was floored! It is made out of good quality, sturdy plastic. It has a good heft and is very durable. It is more than worth the price you pay for it. Reminds me of the good ol' days when toys were actually made to last!

      UPDATE: We have officially used the mallow gun and it is amazing! It makes a very satisfying "POP" when the marshmallows are fired and they get fabulous distance! They do sting a bit at close range, but that makes it even more entertaining.

      This was a great buy and I highly recommend it!

      I'm 18 years old about to go to college and I've bought a lot of toys in my time on this earth. I read review after review after review of these marshmallow guns trying to make sure I was getting my money's worth. Lemme tell you, I ain't lying when I say this is the most fun thing I've ever bought.
      These people that are talking about it breaking and getting jammed aren't using it correctly. Of course if you put a marshmallow that's a little bigger than most mini marshmallow it's gonna get stuck. Just keep pumping it or take a bobby pin and get it out, no problem. And of course if you're playing outside the marshmallows are gonna melt and get sticky and glop together, that's just common sense. It does shoot out quite a few in one pump, but that doesn't make it any less fun. It's made very sturdily and if the gun breaks while you're using it, you're playing too roughly, sit down.

      As a full-grown adult I found this product was too hard to use. It is almost impossible to push the handle forward. There is no way a child could use this. Also the marshmallows get jammed very easily, or sometimes simply fall out of the gun.

      We LOVED these. The do jam but it helps a lot to use cornstarch. We also cleaned out the tubes with hot soapy water if they did jam and then waited until COMPLETELY dry before using again. That seemed to work. They shot REALLY FAR! Our only issue was the jamming but we knew ahead of time that it was a potential issue and it was managed.

      It was pretty cool and makes dramatic popping noises when it shoots. Great range and a whole spray of marshmallows!

      Just don't pack the marshmallows down in the tube and you'll avoid the sticking issues others mentioned. Also, when they got some sticky stuff in there, we added a bit of flour rather than getting it wet.

The handle did not move, the only way we could get the handle to close was to take the tubes off and press it closed while having in press on the floor. We have now returned this and hope to find something different.
