Why should a kid have to stop playing with her toys just because it’s getting dark outside? That problem is happily solved by glow-in-the-dark toys, which provide illumination as well as entertainment. The range and scope of these gleaming playthings is wide, and the variety within the genre ensures that just about anyone can find a toy that glows just for them.

— “This is even scarier than the original. Kids and adults love it,” said John Strait, owner of 2Kool Toys in Chicago, Ill.
— “This is the best sleep-over toy we sell. It’s scary, fun and now it glows in the dark,” said Robin Cosby, owner of Cosby Toys in Austin, Texas.
