Dustin Ellis, the son of an Iranian mother and an American father, distinctly remembers feeling different from other school kids growing up. They’d bring peanut butter and jelly for lunch and thought his traditional Iranian kabob sandwich was weird. But Ellis used his differences to bring out a whole new line of entertainment that has a built-in audience and lots of room for growth.
