There have been a lot of calls for Hasbro to release more female character Star Wars toys, but apparently they feel they've released a fair amount. When asked at a Q&A during Toy Fair if they planned on releasing more female character toys, they stated, "Hasbro feels they have released plenty of female characters," and that they have "no plans" at the moment to release any figures that aren't already available.

There's some more information about Mattel's interactive "Hello Barbie." The doll, which should be availabel for Christmas 2015, connects with Wi-Fi and possesses voice-recognition technology, so she's able to "converse" with kids. She can remember phrases, and adapts to individual kids based on the questions they ask her and their other interactions, like Siri does on the iPhone. She can also play games and tell jokes to her owner.

Mattel is expanding their Monster High collection with "Freak du Chic," a line of 17" Monster High dolls that will retail for $29.99 and should be hitting shelves by the end of summer.

They'll also be introducing a new Monster High Mega Bloks line, and riding on the popularity of My Little Pony, they're also releasing a line of Monster High Centaurs.

Aurora World is releasing an adorable new L.E. Phants plush line, with soft and squishy elephant plush toys. They're also featuring Taddle Toes, a plush line full of cute characters with over-sized feet.

They've also expanded their popular My Little Pony line with new small and large plush items, and in keeping with the TIA's "Aquatic" trend, they've expanded their  Sea Sparkles™ mermaid plush doll line to include new colors, characters and sizes.
