(September 2, 2021) — Diamond Comic Distributors announced in August the release of a pair two new Pop vinyl figures from Funko: the Japanese TV Spider-Man and the Marvel X-Men Kate Pryde with Lockheed.

Diamond and Funko continue their long-running partnership with the announcement of these two new PREVIEWS Exclusive Funko Pop! figures. Inspired by the release of Marvel's 616, the new eight-episode anthology series coming to Disney+, Funko has announced the new PREVIEWS Exclusive Japanese TV Spider-Man Pop! figure (JAN219199, SRP $14.99). Young motorcycle racer Takuya Yamashiro becomes Spider-Man in the 1978 tokusatsu live-action television series when tasked with saving the world by Garia, the last of the aliens from Planet Spider. The PREVIEWS Exclusive Pop! Japanese TV Spider-Man Vinyl Figure features the hero in his Spider-Protector costume with his Spider Bracelet that allows him to not only shoot webbing, but to call on a giant robot known as Leopardon to aid in the fight against the evil Iron Cross Army! This PREVIEWS Excusive Japanese TV Spider-Man Pop! Figure stands about 3 3/4" tall and comes packaged in Funko’s iconic collector-friendly window box. Funko also announced the PREVIEWS Exclusive Kate Pryde with Lockheed Pop! figure (JAN219200, SRP $13.99). Based on her appearance in Gerry Duggan and Matteo Lolli's Marvel Comics hit Marauders, this iteration of Captain Kate Pryde is ready to grab her crew and sail to Krakoa the old-fashioned way. Sporting new knuckle tattoos that read "Hold" and "Fast" she comes packaged with her alien dragon buddy, Lockheed. This PREVIEWS Exclusive Kate Pryde Pop! figure stands about 3 3/4" tall and comes packaged in Funko’s collector-friendly window box.
