Dolls

The other aisle that actually moved this week. Madame Alexander and Mattel both put dolls on sale Oct. 1, a Día de Muertos Barbie and Ken are in stock on Mattel Creations, and a Halloween Draculaura is dated for mid-October. This is launch news, not a ranked trend chart.

Mattel Creations put the Dawn of the Dance creeproductions on sale Oct. 1 at 9:00 a.m. PT. Through Oct. 2 at 8:59 a.m. PT, only Fang Club members could buy them on that site, while supplies lasted. Draculaura is $33, 10.5 inches tall, with 11 points of articulation, a doll stand and a certificate of authenticity. She wears a pink-striped ruffle-hem mini dress and a bow shawl, with a collar necklace, bracelets, drop earrings, a white mini hat, pink-and-black pumps, an iCoffin, a party invite, a hairbrush, two pictures and a sparkly handbag.

Frankie Stein is the same price, height and member window. Her look is a black-and-white striped belted mini dress, pink shrug, fishnets and mismatched heels, plus necklaces, lightning-bolt earrings, an iCoffin, an invite and a patchwork handbag. Both product pages showed Sold Out when checked. Mattel says the dolls cannot stand alone and that each character in the line is sold separately.

Barbie and Ken match in deep red for Día de Muertos

Barbie Signature’s 2026 Día de Muertos Barbie is in stock on Mattel Creations at $81. The page does not give a launch day. Edna Vogel-Amezcua designed the doll and Charis Ceniseroz the packaging. She is a Model Muse body, face sculpt B9324, with a certificate and a stand, and she cannot stand alone. The gown is deep-red satin with a mermaid skirt. Mattel says the embroidery draws on traditional Mexican pottery, with a skeletal ribcage, a brooch and a sugar-skull mask with sculpted roses.

Ken is the same $81 and was also in stock, face sculpt GTJ79 on a Muse body. He wears a deep-red knee-length jacquard jacket with a sugar-skull design, a bone-printed black shirt and pants, a skull-style mask and a removable top hat with a red rose. Same designers, certificate and stand. Mattel frames both as this year’s entry in the annual series.
