November 2026

An airbrush that sprays washable marker ink sits at No. 1 on Amazon's Toys & Games best-seller list, and a walking capybara with surprise babies tops Kids' Electronics. Here are five toys climbing Amazon's charts on Nov. 5, 2026, with prices and stock checked the same morning. None of them appeared in last week's hot-toy lists.

1. Crayola Marker Airbrush Spray Art Kit

Crayola Marker Airbrush Spray Art Kit box with airbrush, markers and stencils

No. 1 in Toys & Games on Amazon's Best Sellers list on Nov. 5. Kids load a washable marker into the battery-powered sprayer, point it down and press the button to spray color through stencils. The updated kit has one airbrush, 8 washable markers and 5 reusable stencils. It also takes Crayola Broadline, Super Tips and Pip-Squeaks markers, so kids can add colors from markers you already own. Crayola rates it ages 6 and up. It needs 4 AA batteries, which aren't included. Price: $14.99 on Amazon, in stock on Nov. 5.

Crayola Marker Airbrush kit package

Pros: Under $15; works with markers families already have; stencils give neat results for kids who get frustrated freehand.
Cons: Batteries not included; spraying is messier than drawing, so cover the table; the marker only sprays when pointed down.

2. Pets Alive Mommy Capybara and Baby Surprise (ZURU)

ZURU Pets Alive Mommy Capybara and Baby Surprise with tub and baby capybaras

No. 1 on Amazon's Kids' Electronics best-seller list on Nov. 5. The furry battery-powered "Mommy Cappy" walks with a waddle and makes capybara sounds. Each box hides two or three baby capybaras that hook on behind her in a little train. Price: $24.99 on Amazon, in stock on Nov. 5.

Pros: A surprise reveal plus a toy that walks; the babies link up, which younger kids love; under $25.
Cons: You may get two babies or three; it runs on batteries; we found no age grade on the Amazon listing, so check the box.

3. Let's Go Fishin' Game (Pressman)

Let's Go Fishin' game box with spinning pond and fishing poles

No. 3 in Kids' Electronics and No. 9 in Games on Amazon on Nov. 5. The classic fishing game is back on gift lists: a rotating pond makes the fish open and close their mouths, and up to 4 players race with mini fishing poles to catch the most. It is rated ages 4 and up, and the listing says it helps develop hand-eye coordination. Price: $9.97 on Amazon, in stock on Nov. 5. For more family games, see our deduction games guide.

Pros: Under $10; no reading needed; a game parents remember from their own childhood.
Cons: Small fish and poles are easy to lose; it is mostly quick hands and luck, so older kids tire of it.

4. LeapFrog LeapMove Active Learning Video Game System

LeapFrog LeapMove active learning game console

No. 4 in Kids' Electronics on Amazon on Nov. 5. LeapMove plugs into a TV with the included HDMI and USB cables, and kids play by moving their bodies: flap their wings to fly into numbers, catch glowing orbs to explore letters, or run an obstacle course to build words. It comes with 25 games covering more than 20 school skills such as math, spelling and phonics, at three learning levels, for ages 4 to 7. More games, including two-player ones, are downloadable. Price: $49.97 on Amazon, in stock on Nov. 5.

Pros: Gets kids moving while they practice early math and reading; 25 games included; no controller to break.
Cons: It is still screen time; needs open floor space in front of the TV; best for ages 4 to 7, so older siblings outgrow it.

5. Nex Playground Active Play System

Nex Playground active play console

No. 13 in Kids' Electronics on Amazon on Nov. 5, and the priciest pick here. Nex Playground is a small console with a built-in wide-angle camera that follows players' movements, so up to four people play with their bodies and no controllers. It comes with five games, including Fruit Ninja and Whac-a-Mole. The full game catalog needs a Play Pass, $49 for three months or $89 for a year, per the listing. Nex says it has no ads or in-app purchases, is kidSAFE+ COPPA certified, and that motion-tracking data is never stored. Price: $299 on Amazon, in stock on Nov. 5.

Pros: Whole-family active games on a cold day; no controllers; no ads or in-app purchases, per Nex.
Cons: $299 up front plus a Play Pass for most games; it uses a camera in your living room; needs room to move.

How we picked: We read Amazon's Best Sellers lists for Toys & Games, Kids' Electronics, Games, Building Toys and Dolls, plus New Releases, on the morning of Nov. 5, 2026. We skipped toys we covered in the last two weeks. Prices and stock came from Amazon the same morning.
