Debuting on Broadway in 2001, Seussical is quickly becoming one of the most popular musicals performed by schools across the US. Composed by Stephen Flaherty, Seussical features lyrics by Lynn Ahrens & Dr. Seuss. Stephen Flaherty won the Tony Award in 1998 for his compostion, Ragtime; he is also well known for composing Once on This Island.

There are 36 tracks on this album: Tracks 1-18 contain the background tracks and guide vocals; tracks 19-36 contain the accompaniment tracks alone. This album is a re-recording in the original show key and show tempo.

This album will play in any CD player. When played on a karaoke machine, lyrics will appear on-screen. A lyric booklet is enclosed in the CD jewel case.
