The AquaStruct™ shower adventure construction toy system (patent pending)
enables youths ages 7 to 107 invent and reinvent their shower every time they
get in. AquaStruct™ uses uses proprietary zero insertion force, easy release,
no-twist connectors that make it possible for users to plumb and replumb the walls
of their baths and showers with suction mounted pipes, hoses, valves, sprayers,
and misters, and to convert otherwise boring shower curtains and tub mats into
wickedly fun water delivery systems. The AquaStruct™ toy system teaches
circuit logic and problem solving, while engaging the imagination. The AquaStruct™
toy system creates a captive market for follow-on sales of new gadgets and gizmos
that interoperate exclusively with the system's proprietary connector system.
The AquaStruct™ toy system is designed with water conservation in mind.
With throughput of not more than 2.5 gallons per minute, the AquaStruct™
toy system meets the U.S. federal gold standard for low-flow shower devices.
With its easy to use spider control valves, the AquaStruct™ toy system
encourages young users to use water sparingly, turning off the water while soaping
up or shampooing and while rearranging the plumbing. This means that, if a typical
shower lasts about 8 minutes and uses about 17 gallons of water (source: h2ouse.org),
an AquaStruct™ shower of the same duration can use much less water. That,
or the AquaStruct™ shower can last longer, while using no more water.
While designed specifically with tweens in mind, the AquaStruct™ toy
system is appropriate for children ages 7 and up. Basic kits retail for approximately
$34.99 with Plus and Deluxe kits at $66.99 and $99.99, respectively. Attachments
retail for between $34.99 and $44.99. Online wholesale purchasing will be available
September July 2007 at www.aquastruct.com. Minimum purchase is required. New
accounts are subject to credit check. International licensees and distributors
are sought.
