Awesome Kids, L.L.C. has been in operation since 1991, founded by an entrepreneur who was concerned about the growing trend of toys attempting to leave no room for imagination in play, especially in the early ages of 3 to 8 years. His concept of "Toys in a Box," provided the basis to cover many areas of play with a single basic box. The boxes were to be portable, packable, and stackable to allow the young child the freedom to play anywhere and clean up with a minimum of effort. This concept also allows the parent to teach the responsibility of cleaning up after oneself without the need for great pressure.

The initial offerings were boxes containing Dinosaurs, African Animals, Cowboys & Indians, etc. The current list contains over 30 titles and is growing as we write this letter. The latest offerings are a Revolutionary War box, a US Civil War box and a Rodeo box which have only been available in the past six or seven months. Our latest box, out this summer, is our Mt. Olympus Magic box, just in time for the summer games in Greece.

Planned in the marketing strategy are a group of Awesome Kid characters featured on our web pages and a staple in our boxes. These include the Awesome Professor, with his sidekick, Mervin the mink, and six awesome kids, all trademarked. These characters will be featured in our coming DVD's and VHS's about the adventures of the Awesome Kids.

We sell to over 3500 high end quality retailers, gift shops, children's hospitals, museums, aquariums, zoos, teacher's supply stores, and, of course, toy shops. We ship in case quantities only (6pcs./case), and use UPS exclusively for shipping from our Chicagoland warehouse.
