Bear artist and business women Theresa Yang employs over 500 workers. The tiny bears are hand-made from artist designs and then sold in 25 countries around the world.

World of Miniature Bears is very much a family business and a number of Theresa's relatives are involved in the venture. Her brother handles the Thailand factory and her sister and brother-in law look after the Taiwan workshop. "As word has spread about the work we do and our good rates of pay, we are approached every day by people asking if we have any vacancies within the business" Theresa explains. "This has given us the opportunity to employ a really dedicated staff who enjoy sewing these bears. Thus the quality of workmanship on the entire range is a very high standard."
