Glendale, CA - February 11, 2016 -DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls sings and dances
its way into theaters in 2016 with a host of highlighted licensees across categories including toys
and games, publishing, arts and crafts, food and many more. Debuting globally this October and
November, Trolls will introduce audiences to a world filled with joyous unforgettable characters
with their decidedly unique worldview.
The movie tells the story of the overly optimistic Princess Poppy (Anna Kendrick) who
must enlist the help of a hilariously grumpy survivalist troll named Branch (Justin Timberlake) to
rescue an unusual assortment of her friends. Together, they embark on a comedic journey filled
with epic adventures and original songs.
To celebrate the film debut of the globally iconic Trolls, DreamWorks Animation has
aligned with top brands across categories, led by global master toy partner Hasbro. Additional
highlighted program collaborations include Random House Children’s Books, Hallmark, Franco
Manufacturing Co., Inc, Trends International LLC, H.I.S. International, a division of The Bentex
Group, Editorial Planeta, Ravensburger, Clementoni and Procos.

Hasbro: As master toy partner, Hasbro will launch a program including figures,
plush, playsets, games and more, enabling kids to act out memorable movie
moments with a colorful, collectible cast of Trolls friends.

Random House Children’s Books: As core publishing licensee in the US,
Random House Children’s Books—the world’s largest English-language
children’s trade book publisher—will offer a robust and compelling multi-layered
program of novels, storybooks, coloring activity and novelty starting with two
titles in summer
2016 and an 11-book movie tie-in program in fall
2016.

Hallmark: Hallmark brings Trolls into the social expression category with
imaginative greeting cards, gift bags, ornaments and more.
Franco Manufacturing Co., Inc.: As the lead home category licensee, Franco
will launch bedding, bath, beach and numerous accessories to fill kids’ rooms
with the world of Trolls starting this fall!
Trends International LLC: As a publishing partner, Trends International, LLC
will launch a program including posters, calendars, stickers and tattoos to engage
Trolls fans of all ages.
H.I.S. International, a division of The Bentex Group: As lead sportswear
licensee for Trolls, H.I.S. International will bring the fun and fashion to a
character-inspired assortment of key items and collections.
Editorial Planeta: As the No. 1 Spanish language publishing company, Editorial
Planeta will launch a colorful collection in Spain and Portugal which includes
story books, novelization, activity books, sticker books and novelty.
Ravensburger: Ravensburger of Germany will introduce a variety of 2D and 3D
puzzles as well as Arts & Crafts products, including Painting by Numbers and
Mandala Designer, opening the doors to the colorful world of Trolls for kids of all
ages.
Clementoni: The Pan-European licensee will celebrate Trolls by launching a
wide range of beautiful puzzles of various piece counts, sizes and features,
including glitter and velvet touch finishes.
Procos: The Pan-European licensee for party wares will bring children's parties
to life with an array of products inspired by Trolls.
Additional global licensees for Trolls across all categories will be announced throughout
2016.
