This 66-minute DVD features two 22-minute episodes of the animated action comedy “Kappa Mikey,” along with several extras and a bonus episode. In the title episode, the cast of Japan’s anime television series LilyMu is slated to perform at the birthday party of the son of a key advertiser. Mikey gets lost in Tokyo when he tries to find the party on his own, and ends up joining a motorbike gang. Other episodes are “Easy Come, Easy Gonard” and “The Man Who Would Be Mikey.” “[‘Kappy Mikey’] is a cult hit worldwide and the show is supported by promotional efforts by Nickelodeon, giving it extra exposure,” Carina Sayles of Sayles & Winnikoff Communications told TDmonthly.
