Ping is well known in the doll world for her incredible life like Asian babies. Ping has specially sculpted a large Asian baby named Li-Wei which means "Great Success". Ht 24-25" in silicone/vinyl. Those who love to redress their babies will enjoy this large size. Her dark brown hair is styled with two pigtails with ribbon bows under her hat. She wears a traditional Chinese style baby's costume. This type of costume has been worn for centuries. The bright colors such as reds and golds are considered auspicious and are thought to confer luck upon the baby. The hat with a tiger's face is a symbol of courage and strength and is also a protective charm. Hats for infants were very bright and fancy and full of adornments such as pom-poms and tassels which are meant to attract good fortune.
