The Mrs. Goodwood and Baby set is designed for 1:12 scale dollhouse play, offering children opportunities for imaginative storytelling and vocabulary development through miniature scenarios like park visits or household adventures. The lifelike figures encourage cognitive and social growth by prompting creative narratives.
The female doll is constructed from solid rubber tree wood with bendable legs and a knitted jersey fabric covering, ensuring compatibility with all Tender Leaf Toys dollhouses. Materials are sustainably sourced—for every tree used in production, another is replanted. The toy contains no harmful chemicals and meets European, American, Australian, and New Zealand safety standards.
Production occurs entirely in a family-run Indonesian factory, where British designs are transformed from raw wood to finished product. This process supports stable employment for local craftspeople while maintaining consistent quality control. The eco-conscious materials and ethical manufacturing make this a durable and responsible playtime choice.
Things to Keep in MindA primary concern is the toy's durability, with multiple reviews citing instances of legs breaking, sometimes quickly or during gentle play, leading some users to question its value for the price. Why You'll Like ItThe doll is generally well-received for its appealing design and suitability for dollhouse play, with many children reportedly loving it.
