In this Dragon Ball Z-themed mystery game, players work together to prevent a hidden enemy from capturing one of the Dragon Balls. The game involves analyzing clues to identify which villain is targeting the Dragon Ball, which hero can stop them, and where the confrontation will take place. Playable locations include Tenkaichi Budokai, Kame’s Lookout, Master Roshi’s House, Satan City, Wilderness, Capsule Corporation, Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Korin Tower, Meadow, and Gohan’s House.
The game includes six custom villain coins featuring Frieza, Kid Buu, Perfect Cell, Broly, Garlic Jr., and Bojack. Components consist of a game board, six character movers, six villain coins, six character role cards, six character clue cards, six villain clue cards, nine location clue cards, 21 intrigue cards, one envelope, and two six-sided dice. Designed for 2-6 players aged 8 and up, each session lasts approximately 60 minutes or longer.
Things to Keep in MindA few players noted that the board and card designs felt a bit basic for a special edition, and there were rare cases of missing pieces or rules that took a little effort to grasp at first.
