Hamlet: The Village Building Game is a competitive strategy game where players develop a small settlement into a thriving village. The game concludes when the central church building is completed. Players construct buildings and pathways, manage resources by processing or selling them at the market, and fulfill orders to contribute to the church's construction.
Workers play distinct roles—villagers handle tasks while donkeys create transport chains to move resources efficiently. The modular tile system ensures a unique village layout in every game, with players collaborating on shared construction while competing for the highest score.
Designed by David Chircop, the game supports 1-4 players aged 10 and up, with an average playtime of 25 minutes per player. The game is presented in German.
