Description Ages 8 to 80 Take action to rescue the climate! Burn a chip of coal broken from a much larger piece of coal to understand first hand how “clean” coal really is. You can order the bituminous coal from us or obtain it locally. Then you have a choice: You can burn the rest of your lump of coal. OR You can bury the coal in the ground. OR Deliver it to your legislators with a demand for action! This activity combines science with political action.  Begin with a fossil fuel experiment that explores the concept of “clean coal.”
