LEGO City set 60501 is a 1,165-piece amusement park built around a volcano. The finished roller coaster stands more than 10.5 inches (27 cm) tall and 21 inches (54 cm) wide. Kids launch the 3-car train from the top of the volcano, and it races through a full loop and can set off a tumbling lava boulder. A dial spins a carousel of 4 mine carts around a rock crystal. The set comes with 8 minifigures, one wearing a hidden-disabilities sunflower lanyard, plus a posable rock monster, a rock-candy stall, an arcade machine, a souvenir stand and a ride photo desk.
