This limited edition, 1/48 scale die cast model of an F3F-1 - the last American biplane fighter delivered to the U.S. Navy - flown by the commanding officer of VF-3 stationed on the USS Saratoga (CV-3) in October, 1940, features textured surface details, wire wing rigging, a detailed cockpit with a pilot figure, a rotating propeller, realistic M2 machine guns, removable wing-mounted bombs, optional position landing gear with real rubber tires, the squadron's Felix the Cat insignia on the fuselage, and more. 8" wingspan; includes a display stand.
