Kids love to move…and what could make movement more fun than the inspiration of sparkling LED lights powered by kids’ own movement?!  Our new WHIP’N’SKIP is a modern update on a very popular, classic toy from the 90’s.  Though the basic movement is easy to learn, it’s a challenge to keep it going, a feat of balance, endurance, and coordination.  To play, simply attach the tether to one leg and begin rolling the disc ball on the ground in a circular pattern around your body.  With each revolution, your other leg must hop or skip over the tether.  Kids get their competitive juices flowing to see who can skip the longest, and record the highest score on the ball’s built-in counter, while being mesmerized by the motion-activated LED lights (especially in the dark).  It’s a great way to build coordination, balancing skills, and burn off energy so kids don’t even realize they’re getting an invigorating workout.  Requires 3 x AG13 batteries.  Ages 8 & Up.
