Plant Tycoon is a gardening simulation where players nurture plants and experiment with increasingly rare and valuable species. Players start with a couple of dollars, a handful of seeds, some soil and water and then grow plants, organize and harvest seeds, monitor plant health, and protect plants from infestations. The object is to cross breed plants until one finds the six Magic Plants of Isola and solve the genetic puzzle. “This game runs in true real-time meaning that your plants will keep growing even when your computer is off or you are not playing,” Last Day of Work Executive Producer Carla T.
