Players choose four chips of one color. They then separate the 5 Tip Top cards and shuffle, turn over the top card and set the pile down. The remaining Over and Out cards are shuffled and dealt to each player according to the number of chips they have. Remaining cards make up the draw deck. The first player lays a card down and draws another from the draw deck. Each player lays down a card and adds to the existing pile total. The player who causes the pile total to go over the number on the Tip Top card loses the hand and one chip. Play continues until one player is left with chips. The last player to have any chips wins. This game reinforces math skills.
