Kids can make their own flipbooks with this kit that contains pages with pre-drawn frames for two dynamic books: Mona Lisa (she warps and smiles) and Degas Dancer (she comes to life), as well as pages with empty frames for original artwork. Once the frames are colored with the six markers provided, children just separate the pages along their perforations, order and stack the pages, and clip them together.
— Barry Jacobson, director of sales and marketing for Fliptomania, told TDmonthly that this product is unique because it “introduces children to the basic building blocks of movie-making. It also provides them with simplified versions of fine arts subjects that they might recognize.” Launch date: November 2006.
