In this game, players travel through Fossil Island, navigating a colorful dinosaur down an eggshell trail by rolling a die and solving an addition card problem. They discover shortcuts, take chances on Dino Dare cards, survive ups and downs, bump an opponent and race ahead … trying not to fall back. Different ages and abilities can play side by side, and players are together to the end. “Fossil lsland is designed to facilitate play as the user sees fit. The objective of the game can be changed with a simple change of card decks so parents and teachers don't have to buy an entirely new game,” Creator Bonnie Hemstad of White Sand Games told TDmonthly.
