CATAN Junior is a strategy game set on a ring of tropical islands, featuring Spooky Island as the domain of the Ghost Captain. Each island produces distinct resources: wood, goats, molasses, or cutlasses, with gold also available. Players begin with two pirate lairs and expand their network by building ships. Constructing additional lairs increases resource collection, which can be used to develop more ships, establish new lairs, or seek assistance from Coco the Parrot. Trading is possible at the nearby market. Designed as an entry point to the CATAN series, this game encourages social interaction, suitable for family play, board game groups, or remote sessions. The simplified mechanics make it accessible for younger players while retaining strategic depth. It accommodates 2 to 4 players, with an average playtime of 30 minutes.
