It includes 12 land tiles featuring bridges that allow players to connect roads across gaps, creating alternate pathways. The expansion also introduces castle tokens, which can be placed on small cities to convert them into castles, scoring points from adjacent features. A bazaar mechanic is added, where players participate in auctions to acquire special tiles by bidding victory points. This expansion is compatible with other Carcassonne sets and supports 2-6 players.
