CATAN Starfarers transports players to the year 2700, where they compete to become Ambassador to the Galactic Council. Players engage in intergalactic diplomacy by forming alliances with alien civilizations and exploring new solar systems to advance their standing. The game includes space exploration elements such as navigating wormholes, trading with merchants, and encountering pirate threats. Players can upgrade their mothership with speed boosters, freight pods for trade advantages, and defensive cannons. The gameplay features a modular board, snap-together ship components, and a unique shaking mechanism that determines movement and encounters. Designed for 3–4 players aged 14+, each session lasts approximately 120 minutes. The set includes 1 game board, 4 motherships, 4 sets of ship upgrades, 1 shaker, and various tokens and cards.
