The ceramic figurines are very detailed and realistic, with even the size of the tadpole and baby frog molded to scale. The figurines are great for both display and demonstrating the life cycle of a frog. The tadpole and frog are also available separately with MSRPs of $5.00 and $7.00, respectively. “These two pieces are wonderful stocking stuffers for young boys with no fear that they have not been made to the most exacting standards in the United States,” Susan Nikas of Hagen-Renaker Inc. told TDmonthly. Launch date: July 2007.

The American-made, handcrafted figurine consists of a little girl riding a horse-drawn sleigh with her puppy and three packages. Each piece in the ceramic figure is hand-painted. “The little girl who receives [this] grows up…[and] can pass it on to her daughter, and her daughter can do the same,” Sue Nikas of Hagen-Renaker told TDmonthly. “Since these are ceramic, they are fired at 2,000 degrees and, unless smashed, can last 100 or more years.” Launch date: January 2008.

This collectible ceramic piece features a horse and rider. ”This piece is just one of the hundreds of horse figurines produced by Hagen-Renaker since the 1950's and collected since then,” Susan Nikas of Hagen-Renaker Inc. told TDmonthly. “It is produced in the United States, which means that the piece is absolutely safe, unlike resin/plastic pieces imported from China.”

Part of Hagen-Renaker's new miniature lineup for 2007, 2.75"-high Silky Sullivan is a classic figurine designed by renowned sculptress Maureen Love. First issued from 1962 to 1971, Silky Sullivan has been reissued for 2007 in memory of Love, who recently passed away.
— Hagen-Renaker figurines were cited among the top-selling collectible items in the store of Lisa Bennett, owner of Peacock Feather in Needham, Mass.
— Bennett told TDmonthly in summer 2007 that she sells about 60 to 70 units a month of the line’s collectible items.
— Cynthia Phillips Strinich, owner of Phillip's Toy Mart in Nashville, Tenn., told TDmonthly in a Summer 2012 survey that Hagen-Renaker glass animals were among her best selling collectible items.

This miniature ceramic lion is completely hand-made. Hagen-Renaker started in 1945 and has been producing collectible ceramics for more than 60 years, becoming a line that has been shared by three generations of kids. More than 200 different ceramic miniatures are available. Orders must be made in minimum purchases of $100. Launch date: January 2007.

This ceramic, domestically produced figurine made in California is different from the imported resin figurines that are the usual collectible today, Susan Nikas of Hagen-Renaker told TDmonthly. The company has produced ceramic miniature figurines since the early ‘50s, and grandmothers who collected them as children are now starting collections for their grandchildren. They are hand-crafted from start to finish, which makes each one unique. Launch date: July 1, 2006.
