GreenLight has created a modern day homage for the third Bullitt Diorama.  2008 year models of the original cars are used to create the scene.  The original paint schemes and background image are both displayed. The Indy Pace Car diorama celebrates the centennial milestone of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). The Diorama shows the 2011 and 2010 Camaro SS Pace Cars, in their complementing paint schemes. Smokey and the Bandit II debuted in the United States on August 15, 1980. It was the sequel to the 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit, which starred Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jerry Reed, Jackie Gleason, Jackie Gleason and Dom DeLuise.  The story centers on Bo "Bandit" Darville (Burt Reynolds) a now washed-up has-been living in the past.  It has been years since Bandit and Cledus "Snowman" Snow (Jerry Reed) made their famous 28-hour run to Texas for a few cases of Coors.  It is not till Big Enos and Little Enos make them an offer on another cross-country run that Cledus seeks the help of Frog (Sally Field) to encourage the Bandit to sober up and regain his fitness.  The job involves transporting an elephant from Florida to Texas and once again, Sheriff Buford T. Justice played by Jackie Gleason is in hot pursuit to apprehend Bandit in the name of the law.  Frog abandons her second attempt at wedding Buford T. Justice's son Junior to help and buys Bandit a 1980 Turbo Trans Am powered by the Turbo 301; his iconic get-a-way car. In motorsports there is a safety or “Pace Car” that is used to limit the speed of the competing cars on a racetrack for a caution period.  During this period competitors are not allowed to pass the Pace Car.  The officials at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have been selecting a Pace Car and its driver for the Indy 500 each year the race has been held.  For the 1980 Indy 500 Race a distinctive 1980 Pontiac Turbo-Trans Am was the official Pace Car.  Powered by a turbocharged 4.9L V-8 engine, the Turbo-Trans Am needed only minor modifications to bring it up to Pace Car specs. Road Racers commemorates the non-sponsored, driver owned cars that are racing in professional and amateur events. The spirit that pushes these drivers and teams links back to the zenith of road racing found in pony-car showdowns, which are celebrated by the two cars in this diorama; Bill Maier #22 1968 Ford Mustang and Sam Posey #77 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. The replica features an opening hood, detailed engine, real rubber tires, metal body and chassis, detailed graphics, and a custom license plate, and is officially licensed. Both vehicles are 1:64 scale.

Mustang AV’s displays two aviation inspired automobiles. The AV8R and AV-X10 were both one of kind offerings from Ford Motor Company to commemorate their support of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). Both rare machines feature a glass roof, special front and rear fascias, custom wheels and V8 engine. The AV8R debuted at the 2009 Oshkosh, Wisconsin Air Show and the AV-X10 was inspired from the P-51 Mustang Fighter planes from WWll. Both cars were sold at the EAA Gathering Eagles Charity Auction. Apollo 13 tells the story of the lunar flight operation by the same name and the astronauts involved. There are two other stars in the film, a 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350 and a 1970 Chevy Corvette Stingray. These two vehicles share the big screen for a racing scene. This Shelby Cobra CSX3034 is part of the Auction Block series of 1:18 scale die-cast automotives from GreenLight Collectible. This car is modeled after the famous 1966 Shelby Cobra CSX3034. The car was bought, sold, and remodled several times; it even competed in some motocross until 1970. The car is fully documented in the International Shelby Registry and is still in excellent condition today. This 1:18 scale, fully licensed model is a tribute to that famous car.
