Magnetic, geographic and just plain cool, this levitating globe is suspended by the force of the magnet and floats in mid-air. This ball of questions in the making is a real attention-getter.
— Kids can pass their hands above, below and around the sphere as it continues touching only air. Featuring electro-magnetic levitation and elegant styling, it includes an innovative automatic revolving feature.
— “It’s amazing. My 3-year-old was mesmerized, and so was I. We talked about magnets, levitation — real and ‘trick’ — the earth and then about things that fly. It was a great way to learn without even trying,” said Donna Kahn of Miami, Fla.
— Josh Cusher of The Museum Place in Spokane, Wash., explained: “Everyone wants one. They’re uncanny in how they defy gravity. They are sold both for the child, the adult and gifts. It’s an unusual conversation piece.”

Using Bernoulli’s principle Fascinations has engineered a way to float a disc in the air over 18 inches high. Of course at that height it can become difficult to balance any object on a cushion of air but that’s where all the fun begins. How long can it stay in the air and how long can it fly? It’s cooler than magic because it’s real science at work.

These bright tropical fish swim around their bowl all day long while requiring none of the feeding, cleaning, or careful temperature monitoring of a real aquarium. The round bowl and simulated rock base offer an attractive and realistic appearance.
― When asked about her top-selling electronic or battery-operated toys in June 2010, Diana Nelson, owner of Kazoo & Company in Denver, Colo., said “this whole line” from Fascinations, including the Magic Fish Bowl.

AntWorks is based on a 2003 NASA Space Shuttle experiment to study animal life in space and test how ants successfully tunnel in microgravity. This ant farm comes with a clear gel, but with the Antbase LED illuminator it cycles through an array of colors. Kids can watch ants live, work and tunnel in the nutritious non-toxic gel as they create series upon series of intricate tunnels.

The Gyro-discs spin up to 1000 rpm. Just hold the 11" metal ring and strike the smaller, colored discs. As you rotate the ring, the discs begin spinning faster and faster, like mini-gyroscopes. At first, the challenge is to keep all the discs spinning. Once you can do this, there are several tricks and stunts to master.

The base of the Rolling Earth Puzzle Bank is a savings bank with a screw-on cover. The Earth Globe is a puzzle. Place the globe on the base and nothing happens; however, place the magnetic jet airliner on the equator and the globe begins to turn as the jet circumnavigates the Globe. It runs on 4 AA batteries and comes assorted with light blue and dark blue globes. "People will be amazed by the simplistic magnetic science that makes the Earth turn. The motion is mesmerizing as the plane moves around the globe," Richard B. Freeman, VP of domestic sales for Fascinations Toys & Gifts, told TDmonthly. Launch date: May 2009.
