This interactive learning system engages children ages 2 and up through books, audio, and 3D-style animations to reinforce educational concepts. Kids use the stylus to tap on pictures and words, activating on-screen activities that explore reading, counting, problem-solving, and other key skills. The system offers two difficulty levels for most activities, covering over 50 skills per grade level across preschool to first-grade subjects. The library includes more than 700 activities spanning 25+ books (sold separately), with two learn-to-read book sets included. The ergonomic grow-with-me stylus is designed for comfortable use by children of all ages while encouraging proper writing grip. A computer with internet access is required to download books onto the LeapStart system. Note: This device is not compatible with LeapReader books or systems and requires 3 AA batteries.
