PLAN City adds fast food restaurants to its exciting road and vehicle play system. The Hamburger Drive Thru($25.00) playset is a functional building where children can role-play from. Cars pull into the drive thru and can order from the menu board and the waiter will bring them food. Also includes a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

PLAN also introduces a new Airport to the PLAN City system in 2005.   The Airport ($60.00) set features an all-new 2-story design with baggage terminal, check in counter and a control tower at the top.   An airplane and cargo trailer are included. 

PLAN City also gets new product treatment in 2005 with some exciting new designs. The Construction Set ($50.00) is a magnificent construction crane that is fully operational.  Children are able to move the trolley in all directions and the crane pivots on the base as well to allow for 360 degree play.   A variety of construction accessories are also included to expand the play environment.   

PLAN also goes back in time to the prehistoric ages with their new Dinosaur Impulse Range. Individually packed, there are five different characters children can create from a combination of wood and soft foam material. The five dinosaurs are the Ankylosaurus, Pteranodon, Tyrannosaurus, Stegosaurus and Triceratops (all $7.00).

To compliment the Adventurous Castle, the Castle Accessories Set ($18.00) also provides new ways to expand the castle system. Included in this set is a siege tower and jousting tent.

Also available in spring 2005, exciting new role play can be created from the Adventurous Castle($50.00). This new castle set allows children to role play their favorite knight’s adventures. This castle set features detailed figures and interchangeable castle blocks and accessories including a raising gate, catapult, and horses the characters can ride on.

— “Our customers will appreciate something with different languages,” said Peg Scholtes, owner of Capitol Kids in Madison, Wis., who explained that previous products with foreign languages sold well in her store. This is a brand new product that she expects will sell well once it is set up on its demo table.
— “That would be very cool!” said Katie LeRoy, sales associate at Generations — Children’s Store in Ann Arbor, Mich., who hadn’t heard of the product yet but said that kids are drawn to the older station (the Record and Play Railway Train Station), where kids can pre-record their voices. She has the product set up on a demo table in the middle of the store.

The Lights and Sound Ferry ($20.00) allows for trains to go from port to port via the ferry. Simply drive the train into the ferry and dock at the next port. Press the button on the chimney for a horn sound effect and the lights flash to keep passing traffic at bay.

The Smart Speed Tracks ($12.00) will actually slow down the train in high traffic areas and allow it to go back up to normal speeds once it hits the appropriate track.
