It’s something as elementary as dancing ladybugs that make us laugh,” Sales & Marketing Coordinator Jaime Edry of Schylling told TDmonthly. “This product is made from quality wood and has the potential to last from generation to generation.” Launch date: January 2004.

You don't have to roll the Electronic Light Up Dice from Schylling. Simply tap them on a table or surface and they'll start flashing a random number. They put a new and "flashy" twist on an old concept in games of chance. Batteries are included.
— "Light-ups do fairly well from Schylling," said Anna Barr, owner of Anna's Toy Depot in Austin, Texas, when she talked to TDmonthly about popular novelty toys.

Be the first on the scene with the Die-Cast Ambulance from Schylling. It features a pull-back motor, has a length of 4-3/4", and comes in assorted styles.

— “Die-cast ambulance,” James Burdette told TDmonthly, when asked to name the best-selling die-cast vehicles in his store, LB Toys in Media, Pa. His store sells “five to six” each month.
— In May 2008, two of 55 retailers singled out emergency vehicles as their best-selling die-cast.

The Die-Cast Farm Tractor comes with a friction power motor and is part of Schylling's line of die-cast vehicles, which includes the school bus and the mini-train.

The 10"-tall Elephant on Bike tin wind-up toy is a reproduction of classic tin toys made in the 1940s and 1950s. Kids can wind the key and watch the ball spin on the elephant's trunk while he rides his bike in a circle. Schylling carries approximately 50 tin toy reproductions in its line, including many exclusives.

These die-cast trains measure 3” long and are powered by pull-back motors. The trains come in assorted styles and colors. "The Mini Trains are a perfect item to keep by the cash register for that impulse purchase for the antsy child," said Stephen Medina of Schylling Toys.

— In summer 2010, two of 38 retailers told TDmonthly that toy trains are a best-selling collectible, with one specifically naming Schylling’s Die-Cast Pull-Back Mini Train.

Children love the idea of having their own 8-1/2” school bus. This die-cast vehicle has a pull-back motor for pull-back-and-go action, as well as a working stop sign and swinging doors. "Schylling carries around 50 die-cast vehicles, and the large school bus is one of the best sellers," said Stephen Medina of Schylling Toys.
— “[Schylling’s] die-cast school bus,” Marilyn Walker, owner of Play Fair Toys in Boulder, Colo., told TDmonthly, when asked to name the best-selling die-cast in her store. “We sell hundreds each year.”
— Six of 34 retailers TDmonthly spoke with in spring 2007 agreed that Schylling is hot in die-cast. Nine of 55 specialty retailers who spoke with TDmonthly in May 2008 singled out school buses as their best-selling die-cast vehicles.
— Marc Slotin, owner of My Imagination Station in Spartanburg, S.C., told TDmonthly in a Summer 2011 survey that die-cast school buses were among his best-selling die-cast toys.

The Busy Bee Tea Set includes 13 porcelain pieces as well as cups that measure 1 1/8" tall. It's part of the Schylling Pretend Play line of tea sets that also includes the Barbie and Butterfly versions and can be bought with matching baskets. The Tea Set is an elegant way for children to engage in roleplay.
— " Our tea sets sell well. We get them from all different sorts of companies [and] we get them from Schylling," said Tristan Hewitt, manager of Dragon's Toy Box in Seattle.

The Rodeo Deluxe Playset brings the thrill of the rodeo into a living room. Four-inch-high action figures and bulls each have 21 points of articulation, detailed features and rodeo gear. — "We probably sell five or six per month, which, for our store, is real good,” Richmond added.
— The idea for western-themed playsets came from the company's owner, who took up horseback riding a couple of years ago, Stephen Medina of Schylling Toys told TDmonthly. "The jointed and poseable characters of the Rodeo Champions Playsets are so realistic that you’ll feel like you’re at a real rodeo or bull riding event. The play value is off the charts and the scenarios are endless."

Rub-a-dub-dub, there’s a big duck in your tub. Schylling Toy Company believes that bigger is better, which is why this duck is 12” long from beak to tail. The Large Rubber Duck comes with an assortment of hats for virtually any occasion a child might have in mind: rain hat, bonnet and sailor’s hat.

— Both retailers noted that ducky sales are sporadic throughout the year.
— Mike DiAndrea, manager of Hardware Toys/Big Smile Toys in Paoli, Pa., told TDmonthly in an April 2013 survey that they sell about 5 of this toy each month, making it a best-seller in the bath toy category.

— Although rubber duckies have “slowed down” from a few years ago, according to store owner David Campbell of Amazing Toys in Great Falls, Mont., three of 39 retailers said they were still a steady-selling bath item.

— At Silly Goose in Essex, Mass., classic toys by Schylling — including pop guns, jack-in-the-boxes and rubber horseshoe games — rank as best sellers, according to Owner Diane Robinson.
— "Our best-sellers are the old-fashioned ones, such as the Pop Gun," said Rene Leonardi, assistant manager at Ouray Toys in Ouray, Colo.
— Two of 51 retailers specifically referred to the Pop Gun as a continuing best-selling wooden toy in their stores.
