The Budding Scientist Kit is a great way to experience the Teaching Tank. It includes the smaller 8" x 8" tank and the Discovery Book Sampler with eight lessons that will get your child excited and on their way to enjoying science and learning new things about the world we live in!

The Teaching Tank Starter Kit is extremely versatile. It comes with Discovery Book 1 and a bag of Clear Growing Crystals. The Teaching Tank will capture your child's natural curiosity in science and enhance his or her understanding of science through a variety of hands-on activities. Paul Reinbold of Captivation Inc. is proud of the acclaim that the Teaching Tank has garnered. He told TDmonthly that the Teaching Tank has received “…not one, but two prestigious awards from Dr. Toy, the first being one of the 100 Best Children's Products for 2006 and the second being one of the 10 Best Educational Products for 2006.

The lessons in the Discovery Book Series are written by experienced teachers who want students and instructors to succeed. All of the lessons are very well-written, easy to follow and visually exciting! The detailed instructions are augmented by thinking questions and notes for the instructor. Each volume contains 50 new lessons.

The Teaching Tank is an affordable, award-winning, "visually exciting" teaching aid educationally designed for children to do hands-on science. The tank's large viewing area allows students to easily see what is happening. Its 150 experiments let children view roots, worms and chemical reactions like with no other product. The tanks are a snap to assemble, a breeze to clean and fun to use. In addition, the Teaching Tank can be converted into a small aquarium in about 3 minutes.
