Taffy is a cute little preemie baby, and is just 17” long. She is one of the newest kits from the Secrist Dolls Reborn line. She comes as a blank, unfinished doll kit ready for a reborn artist to bring to life. Secrist also offers reborning supplies and an instructional DVD so that newcomers can learn to make their own lifelike newborns. Launch date: 2006.

This 6” mini doll kit comes with all the supplies — paint, brushes, doll kit, tutorials and more — a person needs to reborn their first doll. Reborning can require days of work, but the starter kit makes it possible to reborn a doll in less than three hours. The kit includes a CD with a full tutorial plus a PC video that gives instruction on painting the dolls. Launch date: 2008.

Secrist Dolls is the first American doll company to offer specialty doll kits for the "newborn" market. These doll kits come completely blank and ready to bring to life according to the doll makers imagination. Secrist also offers a complete line of supplies and tools to make this process even more fun and easy. Pictured here is their incredibly life-like Teddy doll kit already "newborned" by a local doll maker. Teddy is 22" long. Secrist has also begun offering craft kits to help new reborners and newborners get started. Launch date: 2005.

This newly born preemie is ready to be “newborned” by an adventurous crafts person. She comes unassembled with vinyl arms, legs, cloth body, joints and tywraps. She needs to be painted and have eyelashes added. The photo depicts a finished “Jamie.

Available as either a "blank canvas" kit for "reborner" craftspeople or as a finished doll, Corey´s limbs and head are made of semi-translucent vinyl and attached to a soft body. Unlike other lifelike baby doll manufacturers, The Secrist Doll Company doesn´t make its babies in China; their factory rests in Michigan´s Saginaw Valley. They even manufacture their own optical-quality arcylic doll eyes. It’s $139.00 for limited edition finished doll (pictured).
